10.06.2008 Since 21.04.2008 on the territory of city of Sofia, in line number 9, was started the first city buses entirely to natural gas. These are the first buses in Sofia, which are with ekostandart Euro 5. Besides low floor and they are comfortable for people with moving problems, the buses are equipped with sound system for the blind. Buses are producing TEDOM Czech company and purchased by SKGT - Sofia with funds provided by the Metropolitan Municipality. The mayor of Sofia - Boyko Borisov officially presented TEDOM of buses 17.04.2008,on the Alexander Nevsky Square.
